The centre for advanced medical research and training (CAMRET) UDUS is looking for potential candidates willing to enrol for masters and or PhD in biochemistry (faculty of sciences) and or veterinary microbiology (faculty of veterinary medicine) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto for 2021/2022 academic session.
This was stated in a letter sent from the CAMRET, on Sunday 10th October, 2021 and signed by CAMRET committee.
Part of the letter read thus:” The candidates will be working on: PROJECT TITLE: Development of recombinant vaccine against COVID-19.
RESEARCH FOCUS: molecular cloning, cell culture, transfection, bioinformatics, ELISA, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, western blotting, and Gene expression.
Prior experience with bioinformatics, molecular techniques or cell culture are added advantages.
The letter further stated that “sponsorship covers all research consumables, reagents and chemicals but not tuition or stipend.
