{"id":62151,"date":"2026-02-09T17:42:02","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T17:42:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ideemlawful.com\/?p=62151"},"modified":"2026-02-12T15:51:03","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T15:51:03","slug":"boko-haram-sends-fresh-threat-letter-to-kwara-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ideemlawful.com\/wp\/boko-haram-sends-fresh-threat-letter-to-kwara-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Boko Haram Sends Fresh Threat Letter to Kwara Community"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Suspected Boko Haram terrorists linked to Jama\u2019atu Ahlissunnah Lidda\u2019awati wal-Jihad (JAS) have reportedly sent a threat letter to residents of Dunshigogo community in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to SaharaReporters, the letter, allegedly delivered to the community, warned residents of an impending visit by the insurgents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development mirrors an earlier threat issued to Woro community, where more than 162 people were later killed in a brutal attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents of Dunshigogo are said to be gripped by fear, with reports indicating that many are considering fleeing the area amid concerns of a possible assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Information reaching me now is that Dunshigogo still under Kaiama Local Government has been served the same letter, like that of Worro by terrorists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I understand that businesses are already closing up and people are fleeing en mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t even know who to call on now that won&#8217;t sabotage the lives of these people,&#8221; a top source disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of the time of reporting, security agencies in Kwara State had not issued any official response to the reported threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On February 3, Nigeria experienced one of its deadliest rural attacks in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terrorists invaded Woro and Nuku villages in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, North Central Nigeria, killing over 162 people, destroying homes, and abducting several residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salihu Umar, the village head of Woro, later disclosed that the attackers had sent a letter to the community about three weeks before the assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere was a letter sent about three weeks ago,\u201d he told reporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI made a photocopy of the letter and took it to the Kaiama Emirate.
