The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has issued public alerts over the rising tide of new drugs disguised under disturbing street names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agency\u2019s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, stated that the awareness became necessary due to recent drug seizures in Lagos and Kano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The raid revealed widespread abuse of hazardous substances among youths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Babafemi explained that the substances include New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) and others with alarming names such as \u201cSuck & Die,\u201d \u201cRubber Solution,\u201d \u201cDead Man,\u201d and \u201cGelato.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He urged parents, guardians, and community leaders to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and curbing these trends within their spheres of influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
