According to the police spokesperson, on the night of Tuesday, May 9, 2023, a man sprayed gasoline in front of the mosque and tried to set fire to the building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Witnesses called emergency services after seeing a man pouring petrol outside the parked mosque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 34-year-old man has been arrested and is being investigated by police for attempted arson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although his motives were initially unclear, the same suspect reportedly set fire to a Quran at a mosque in the month of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another situation, Patrick Brown, a man from Louisiana in the southeastern United States, was released after serving 29 years in prison for alleged rape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is understood that the 49-year-old was accused of a rape he did not commit in 1994 and wrongly sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
