The Judicial Council, Students’ Union, University of Ilorin calls for applications into the Students’ Union Bench from qualified 300 and 400 level law students of Faculty of Law, Univeristy of Ilorin.

Applicants shall fill and submit their application through the Google form link below, wherein they shall;

1- Submit their Application Letters
1.1 The Application letter shall be addressed to the Chairman Adhoc Recruitment Committee, Student Union Judicial Council.
1.2 The application letter shall indicate the reason for the applicant application and the impact the applicant can make to the Judiciary.

2- Submit their CVs
2.1 Applicants CV shall contain, among any other things, 5 cases that the applicant appeared before the LSS court either as lead counsel or co-counsel; 5 cases applicant appeared in before the Student Union Court either as lead counsel or co counsel
2.2 The CV shall, if available, also contain 5 law publications in reputable journals or medium within or outside the University published before the day this notice is released.

3- Submit a scanned copy of their passport photograph (red background).

4- Submit a Certificate of Appearance from the LSS Court certifying that they appeared in the LSS cases they have mentioned in their CVs.

NOTE:
The application process is strictly virtual and no hardcopy submission is required save for the submission of the applicants Spreadsheet or its equivalent to the Judicial Council’s Office on or before the deadline date of the application.

Applicants should ensure that the spreadsheet or its equivalent so submitted is endorsed by the most Senior Justice of the Students’ Union Court.
