Qatar 2022: FG Procures 20,000 Tickets, Free Buses For Nigerians To Watch Super Eagles Match (See Locations for the free buses)

The Federal government through the Ministry of Sports and Nigeria Football Federation, NFF have jointly procured 20,000 tickets for Nigerians to watch the second leg match between the Super Eagles and Black stars of Ghana on Tuesday.

The match which serve as the World Cup qualifiers would be played at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja

Special Assistant to the President on media , Bashir Ahmad let this out in a tweet on Monday.

The tweet read, “As the Super Eagles play Black Stars of Ghana tomorrow at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and NFF jointly bought 20,000 tickets for Nigerians.

“You can get the ticket at a bus station close to you while boarding the bus to the stadium for FREE.”

Interested Nigerians within Abuja are urged to locate the designated bus closest to their locations and get a ticket while boarding the bus.

According to report, each ticket is sold for N2000.

Going by the calculation, the government will be spending N40m for the free tickets.

The capacity of the MKO Abiola Stadium is 60,491.

Recall that, Ghana hosted its Nigeria counterpart at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday where they drew 0-0 after 90 minutes.
