This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, the President will spend 10 working days in France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
Onanuga stated, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today, September 4, to commence a working vacation in Europe.
“President Tinubu will spend the period between France and the UK and then return to the country.”
This comes just a week after his return from a 12-day trip to Brazil and Japan.
During that trip, Tinubu attended the opening ceremony and plenary of the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) on August 20 in Japan.
He also held bilateral meetings and participated in an interactive session with members of the Nigerian community.
Following TICAD9, Tinubu departed Yokohama for a stopover in Los Angeles before heading to Brasília, Brazil, where he met with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and other senior Brazilian officials.
The two leaders held private discussions and witnessed the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding covering aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology, and agriculture—key sectors aligned with Nigeria’s development agenda.
