The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka has blame Peter Obi for death threats after his life.

Morka has disclosed that he and his relatives have received numerous death threats following his remarks about the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The APC spokesperson said that he has received over 400 threats, including over 200 death threats.

The spokesperson for the APC stated that he has been targeted with over 400 threatening messages, with more than 200 of them specifically threatening his life.

According to Morka, these threats were triggered by the LP presidential candidate alleging that Morka’s statements constituted a threat to his life.

“As of now, I have documented 400 threats, about 200 of which are explicit death threats.

“These are written threats that I will be submitting to law enforcement agencies.

“In these messages, individuals have detailed how they plan to harm me, threatening to shoot me, behead me, and carry out other gruesome acts.

“This is not mere rhetoric. It has even extended to direct threats against some members of my family. These are explicit and graphic threats, not vague insinuations.”

Backstory

Morka had earlier accused Obi of crossing several lines while criticising Tinubu and said that he deserved whatever was coming his way.

Following this, Obi alleged that Moka’s statement was a threat to his life.

In solidarity, the Labour Party issued a seven-day ultimatum to Tinubu, urging him to reprimand Morka for his comments.

The APC spokesperson also claimed that Obi’s allegations were baseless and denied making comments that could potentially threaten the life of the LP presidential candidate.

“This entire situation is baseless and cannot be attributed to me. I did not threaten Peter Obi in any way.

“Those issuing these threats are acting on their own, but I trust that law enforcement will respond swiftly to bring them to justice,” Morka said.

He also asked Obi to present proof of the threats he received after his remarks.

“If Peter Obi says anyone threatened him, he must beyond just saying I’ve been threatened.

“For a man in his standing, I think he should supply some evidence of those who threatened him because if anyone threatened Peter Obi, we should not be having a conversation in your studio.

“The law enforcement system should be looking for those who threatened Obi’s life,” he added
