Following Tuesday’s intense confrontation at Wadata Plaza, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Secretariat, the Nigeria Police Force has taken control of the premises and ordered its closure.
The shutdown on Wednesday comes after a heated face-off between the faction loyal to Governor Seyi Makinde and the camp aligned with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, over dominance of the party structure.
