iDeemlawfulPolling 366,781 to defeat his closest rival, Lucky Aiyedatiwa won the Ondo state governorship election.
Aiyedatiwa who succeeded late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on December 27, 2023, is from Ilaje Local Government Area in the southern senatorial district of the state.
The election which took place on Saturday in 3,933 polling units, 203 wards, and 18 local govnment areas with a total of 2,053,061 registered voters out of 5,316,603 population.
Agboola Ajayi, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party scored 117,845 votes.
Aiyedatiwa of the APC was announced the winner of the election on Sunday afternoon
