The Protem National President of the Nigeria Youth Workers Association(NYWA), Hon. Ben Duntoye has applauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his dedication to youth and youth development in the State.
This was said during the inaugural meeting of the Nigeria Youth Workers Association held in the conference Hall of the Kwara State Ministry of Youth Development.
Hon. Duntoye who was one of Guests from National body during inaugural meeting of the Kwara State Chapter of the Association on 6th of September 2021, noted that the creation of the association has become necessary in order to afford Nigeria Youth Workers the opportunity to share experiences they have garnered with the young ones, just as it is done in every other professions.
He explained that, it is imperative to have an organised structure which will serve as a means of integrity as well as guide the character of practice.
He further stated that, Youth Workers are professionals, just as it is in every other professions, adding that working with youths requires skills that only youth workers possess as they have amassed a lot of experiences over the years.
Hon. Duntoye then commended Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stating that no amount of praises can be too much for his efforts in building the youth intellectually.
He also appreciated him for actively engaging the youth in politics, particularly in the area of appointing the young people into positions such as SAs while saluting his leadership skills evident in the newly created Ministry of Youth Development, he prayed for more achievements as His Excellency directed the affairs of the State.
The Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Youth Development Barr. Mrs. Iyabo Funke Banire, who had earlier gave her goodwill message commended Hon. Ben Duntoye for his efforts in easing the affairs of the Youth while encouraging the Association to come up with initiatives that will further help promote the youth and the society at large.
