  • CAPACITY BUILDING COURSE: LagosCOHI set to train over 1000 tertiary institution students across four (4) zones in Lagos State

The Council of Higher Institutions, an organ of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit, has unveiled its plan to train none less than 1000 students of tertiary institutions across its four (4) zones in Lagos State.

In a statement by the Coordinator of the Organ, AbdulHafeez Odusanya, the Capacity Building Course is one of the annual events of the COHI aimed at empowering, enlightening and equipping students with intellectual tools required for modern labour market and their respective mundane life.

The Coordinator said that this year’s edition would also provide relevant training on soft, hard and Information Technology skills to the students.

According to Odusanya, the courses will kickstart  on Saturday, 18th March 2023 through Sunday, 22nd of April, 2023 in physical and virtual format across four carefully selected zones in the state.

“The courses shall run on weekends only across the carefully selected zones in Mushin, Ojo, Epe and Yaba area of Lagos State” he stated.

He said, the registration for the courses has began on the official website of the organ and the registration fee is Two thousand naira (N2,000.00) which shall be paid by shortlisted candidates.

He urged all muslim undergraduates to register for this training as there are limited slots available per zone.

He also appealed to potential sponsors and well-wishers to support the training in their best capacities and as he reiterated that Council of Higher Institutions is an organ whose utmost goal is unification of all muslim students in various campuses across Lagos state.
