An emerging political leader in Kwara State and aspirant for Ifelodun, Offa, Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Olamilekan Olaosebikan expresses shock over the death of a stakeholder and Two-Term Executive Chairman of Ifelodun LGA of Kwara State, Baba (Chief) Rex Olawoye.
Chief Rex Olawoye’s death was announced early Thursday morning after which another news debunking his death was circulated on social media not until same was confirmed later in the day.
With my love and respect for the elder statesman, I found it difficult to believe Baba’s death as I recently discussed about him with one of my allies.
It is no doubt that death is inevitable in man’s life and while we mankind proposes, the Lord Almighty owns the decision and approval.
The role of Baba Rex in the development of Ifelodun LGA as Two-Term Executive Chairman cannot be overemphasized as he was highly involved and committed to the development of our land.
“Chief Rex Olawoye’s death is a personal loss to me as his fatherly advice and support is mostly needed in the development of our constituency and state in general”.
I believe Baba has gone to rest peacefully as the people of Ifelodun and Kwarans will never forget his commendable role in the development of our district and state.
My condolence goes to his immediate family, Agunjin community, fellow sons and daughters of Ifelodun LGA and entire Kwarans.
