BREAKING: Tinubu direct immediate release of #EndBadGovernance protest minors

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the immediate release of all minors arrested by the Police during the #EndBadGovernance protest, emphasising the balance between legal processes and humanitarian concerns.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, who was joined by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga and Special Adviser on Public Communications and Orientation, Sunday Dare disclosed this

The President also tasked the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs with ensuring that the minors get safely returned to their families and oversee their welfare.

A committee, led by the Ministry, will investigate the circumstances surrounding their arrest, detention and release. He further directed that any infractions by law enforcement officials will result in disciplinary action.
