The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has issued public alerts over the rising tide of new drugs disguised under disturbing street names.

The agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, stated that the awareness became necessary due to recent drug seizures in Lagos and Kano.

The raid revealed widespread abuse of hazardous substances among youths.

Babafemi explained that the substances include New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) and others with alarming names such as “Suck & Die,” “Rubber Solution,” “Dead Man,” and “Gelato.”
