The Oyo State government has denounced the ongoing sale of adulterated diesel at unauthorized locations along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, during a monitoring and enforcement exercise, along the route directed the demolition of all structures housing the “blackmarketers” of diesel products.

The Commissioner, while addressing the illegal marketers, hinted at his earlier visit and warnings on the need to put a halt to illegal trading of the products along the axis.

He lamented the lackadaisical attitudes of the sellers, despite several warnings on the position of the state government against the illegal business.
