The Kwara State Government has initiates Fuel Subsidy Removal Palliative for Students, Opens Online Registration Portal

In a move to alleviate the impact of fuel subsidy removal, Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq, has greenlit a palliative program benefiting undergraduate students hailing from Kwara State in public-owned tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

Recall that iDeemlawful earlier published that Kwara state governor has approved 10k support for Kwara state students.

Registration Guidelines for Students’ Palliative

  1. Aspiring beneficiaries are required to access the official portal here.
  2. Select the “Students’ Palliative” link to initiate the registration process and provide personal details for obtaining login credentials.
  3. Validate registration via the designated email address furnished during the process.
  4. Utilize the provided login details, along with a chosen password, to complete the online application form.
  5. Mandatory documents must be scanned and uploaded online, including a recent passport-size photograph, citizenship certificate, admission letter, and valid institutional ID card.

Application Period and Deadline

Eligible candidates are granted the opportunity to apply between August 7th, 2023, and the stroke of midnight on August 30th, 2023.

Official Statement

The initiative has been endorsed by Prof. Shehu AbdulRaheem Adaramaja, who serves as the Chairman of the Government Committee on Students’ Palliative.
