The duo presidential candidate got the permission on Friday, March 3, 2023.

The permission was sequel to two separate ex parte applications filed by Messrs Abubakar and Obi, who came second and third respectively in the presidential election won by Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
