After what felt like ages, Greg was finally tired. I mean that kid is super hyper. Doesn’t even get tired, and look at me. I wonder what he eats…
Just as we were about to got back to our picnic spot, Greg ran away to the swings. I groaned in frustration. Seriously?
I went towards Shahveer, my shoulders slumped. It felt as if I was dragging myself. When I finally reached my destination I plopped myself down on the blanket and let out a sigh of relief.
Shahveer offered me some juice but I refused because drinking water or any kind of liquid after heavy excersise is harmful. I took deep breaths to calm myself. I leaned against the tree as I needed something to rest on.
“You have a good way with kids. I bet you will be a good mom to our children. The best!” Shahveer said grinning at me, as he placed a hand on top of mine.
I choked. For a second I stopped breathing. Does he really think that I’m gonna have kids with him? Nope, no way. I wonder why he hasn’t mentioned the divorce papers yet.
“How can you be so sure?” I grumbled.
“What do you mean?” He turned to look at me.
“I mean we,” I pointed towards him then me, “are not having children.”
He raised his eyebrow, challenging me.
“Oh really? Well since you really don’t believe me, why don’t we go home and start with it.”
“Ew, ew, ew…stop it, I meant I’m not having kids with you. Ever.”
“Pshh!” He mocked me.
Die please!
I simply started ignoring him, as he started speaking. “Hey are you ignoring me?”
I shrugged and looked away. This probably must have pissed him, thats why he wrapped his arm around my waist and bought me closer. So now I’m resting on his chest instead of the tree. We are in public!
I tried to wiggle my way out of his grip but no avail. Rage flushed through me. I turneda around to face him.
“Who do you think you are? Huh? First you go all possesive on me when we weren’t even married and claiming me as yours?!! Then you started texting me. Then you had the decency to leave me behind on the wedding night after claiming that I’m yours!! You mister! Listen here and listen well. I won’t deal with your crap anymore. Lets just get over with this so called relation. So that you can live your life and I can live mine peacefully.”
After I was done with my speech, I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest. Now lets see what he has to say. He looked guilty. But not even a second later, he pulled me close and whispered in my ears.
“Our life is together! Do you get it!! Together! Niether are you leaving me nor am I leaving you. You are stuck with me and there is no way out. ” He said in a menacingly. It scared the daylights out of me. I gulped, “Did I make myself clear?” I nodded at him afraid that he might do something bad to me.
Greg came later on, and we left for home after dropping him. I headed straight for the bathroom since I was sweaty. When I came out, my eyes landed on the bed.
I’m not going to sleep with him, I’ll sleep in another room.
I went down to have dinner which was made by mum. We laughed and happily had dinner. Then towards the living room, we spent some quality time together. It was now getting late. Mum and dad stood up and left for their room, I also went upstairs towardsmy room to wash my hands.
When I came out, Shahveer was standing there. I moved towards the bed grabbing a pillow and an extra blanket from the cupboard. I rushed towards the door before
he could stop me. I turned the knob, but the door didn’t open. I tried again but nope. Nothing happened. I frowned and turned around to see Shahveer smirking at me.
“You see darling, I locked the bathroom and the door which you are trying to escape through. They both are locked, so I’m afraid we have to sleep together.” He pretended to be innocent. Seriously?
“Okay then, I won’t sleep on the bed I’ll sleep on the couch.” I stuck my tongue out at him. I was exploding with happiness in victory.
He shrugged and then motioned towards where the couch was resting. I followed his gaze. My jaw dropped and my eyes widened. I probably look like a fish right now. Guess what?
The couch is no longer in the room.
I glared at Shahveer and he batteted his eyelashes at me while pouting. Aww he looks so cute. I wanna pinch his cheeks. I focused on the situation. I was stuck. Now you must be saying that I can still sleep on the floor, but no, I can’t. Atleast not without a mattress.
“How did you even know I was changing rooms?” I inquired.
“Well I heard you speaking, I qoute ‘ I’m not going to sleep with him, I’ll sleep in another room.’ ” Ughhh… he heard me.
I stomped towards the left side of the bed and laid down. The lights closed and I felt the bed dip beside me. Arms wrapped themselves around my waist and Shahveer’s head was resting in the crook of my neck. My body stiffened at the proximity. I could feel the heat and warmth of his body. After a few seconds I heard soft snores coming from him.
I turned to check if he was asleep or not. My thoughts were confirmed and I snuggled against his warm body. Not a moment later I felt him kiss my hair. I was sure my cheeks were red before I drifted off to darkness.
