Abdulhakeem had proceeded with divorce letter which he sent to Aminah, she has been expecting the letter for long since he refused to call her, she took the letter to Mrs. Qeebat who advised her to get a lawyer but Aminah didn’t. She was not to resist the divorce no matter how much she felt she had invested in the marriage. Abdulhakeem divorced her without any form of settlement even though the court directed that part of the properties should be given to Aminah which Abdulhakeem rejected to follow the decision of the court. She never wish to have any of the properties, her future is what exists to her now.
Aminah was now 28 years old and happy with her life, she now had a place of her own, her relationship with Afolabi’s family grew stronger when they learnt of her divorce, she’s was hardworking and never relent.
Mrs Qeebat was appointed was appointed minister of internal affairs and the appointment automatically created a vacancy for personal assistant, Mrs. Qeebat couldn’t think of anyone else other than Aminah, she was the first and only choice. Mrs. Qeebat sent for Aminah immediately the appointment was confirmed. Aminah walked straight into the living room. They both exchanged pleasantries and she said, you sent for me, m.

She went straight to Habeebat and break the news to her, she congratulated her and brought a glass of Eva wine to toast. The next day, she cashed out the money and went to shopping mall, she bought some corporate and some casual outfits, shoes, bags, cosmetics, jewellery and some other female outfits, she’s ready to work.
She resumes work on Monday of the following week, the job was so demanding but she’s always hardworking. Aminah travelled together with Mrs. Qeebat from state to state, countries are now now like the distance of living room to dining room to Aminah. Without knowing it, Aminah is now a politician.
Aminah has been representing her boss in several occasion, of all the meetings, one was scheduled to hold in Ilorin. University of Ilorin multipurpose hall with some stakeholders on how to put a stop to rape cases as it’s going rampant and viral.
At the airport, they met with the delegates who had been waiting for them so as to convey them to the government house before the commencement of the meeting. The stakeholders and the security agencies were duly represented, religious heads, elders and the likes. Aminah was standing, she was on a call with her boss telling her how things went, and that they had landed safely, behind her were two security officers who were assigned to her. The head of the security was passing, he was directing his boys on how to maintain and take charge of their duty. Alas, Aminah shouted… Abdullah!!! She had forgotten all dignified decorum required of the gathering she was in.
Aminah… Abdullah responded in awe, oh my goodness, this must be a dream and should it be a dream, let me wake up not.
Good to see you again Aminah, what brings you here? I have desperately longer to see you again. I got your SMS but it’s never available, Abdullah was still holding Aminah’s hand, they had both forgotten the crowd.
