ENTRAP INTO THE SUFFERING

As the morning sun rises,
So does my afflictions too,
Life is not a bed of roses,
But rather a kingdom of thorns to me,
As I dwell in afflictions every passing minute.

I was born a leper with no helper,
My life a mockery to the universe,
Only to be matrimonized with accident
That took my limb away,
As my brother shared the same fate with me.

Blind mama was helpless,
While papa was rendered activeless,
The big fella had a brain fade,
Sister Mabel is depressed and traumatized,
She is a victim of sexual abuse.

Like a sworn oath,
Between two promising lovers,
My family is entrap into the suffering,
And when the night comes,
My sorrow will subdue till the next dawn.
