1. Adedigba Mukail: Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actor Adedigba Mukail better known as Alaafin Oro passed away on Saturday 13th May 2023.
Before his death, Alaafin Oro appeared in many movies and was considered a great philosopher and icon with great knowledge of Yoruba culture.
Saint Obi
2. Saint Obi: Actor and filmmaker Obinna Nwafor popularly known as Saint Obi was reported to have died on Sunday, May 7, 2023 but the news broke over the weekend. The 57-year-old actor is said to have died at the home of one of his siblings at 13 Metropolitan Street, Tudun Wada, Jos and his body was taken to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) mortuary.

3. Murphy Afolabi: Actor and movie producer Murphy Afolabi died at the age of 49 after a tragic fall from the bathroom at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The actor, who celebrated his 49th birthday on May 5, 2023, died in the early hours of Sunday, May 14.

4. Tech Sound: Nollywood actor and sound engineer popularly known as Tech Sound also died on Sunday, May 14, according to his colleagues Kunle Afod and Kolawole Ajeyemi.
