From Friday to June 5, except on Sundays, he mandated that the prisoner clean the property daily from 10 a.m. to noon.

The magistrate further instructed the court clerk to get in touch with supervisory personnel at the Correctional Centre, Makurdi.

Earlier, Insp. Omayi Ujata, the prosecutor’s attorney, informed the court that on May 7, 2023, Ene Terwase called the police in distress.

According to Ujata, the complainant informed the police that the inmate intentionally hurt her daughter Mimidoo Samuel by pouring boiling water on her without justification.

According to him, the victim was quickly evacuated by the police to the Benue University Teaching Hospital, where she is currently being treated.
