DISCRIMINATION IN THESE CREAMY NATIONS
If I should write this poem with my blood
and the colour discriminators read each line in red,
yet they wouldn’t be able to read between the lines;
they’re bigoted, blindfolded by their sordid minds.
Despite living in the same terrestrial planet—
a spherical ball that orbits around other stars like applet—
and having equal access to the celestial bodies,
I’m a son of a bitch cos I lack monies.
I have a hand to hold a pen,
I have a beak like other moorhen,
we suppose to drink together
this ocean of knowledge,
but my father,
no one acknowledges.
I’m a female child that’d be turned into a prey,
eaten by the predators whom they don’t pray
to have a ward of my gender so they don’t pay
the price for the atrocities they play.
Oh, no! I’m a man. Who’d offer a man
like me a job? Do I have a pudenda as a woman?
In these creamy nations, discrimination
is what we sing as an anthem. No compassion.
