Following allegations suggesting ‘sexualing minor’ in his widely popular skit video of Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, also known as Trinity Guy, has been ordered to be detained in prison by a magistrate court in Ibadan, Oyo state.
Remember how the Nigerian Police, through Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi, demanded Trinityguy’s arrest after a video of his risky stunts went viral?
The creator of the viral skit and the girl’s parent were questioned by the Oyo State Police Command, according to a statement released on Friday, and they would appear in court on Monday.
The defendant’s lawyer, Oludare Adebayo, pleaded with the judge to grant bail to his client when the defendant was brought before the magistrate by the police.
While denying the bail request, Magistrate PO Adetuyibi stated that the state Ministry of Justice is currently looking into the allegations against the skit maker.
The parents of the young girl in the video were also ordered to remain in custody until the next scheduled hearing by the court.
