The founder of Cornelius Adebayo Foundation and Convener of Legacy Liberation Movement, Engr. C. O Adebayo expresses shock over the death of Former Deputy Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Chief Joel Afolabi Ogundeji.
Engr. C. O Adebayo while addressing ideemlawful media today in Abuja described the death of the elder statesman as a personal loss to him reflecting on his close relationship with the Ogundeji’s family of Iwo-Isin.
In his statement, the son of the former Governor of Kwara State commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased particularly Chief Lanre Ogundeji; fellow people of Isin LGA; Kwara Southerners and Kwarans in general.
“With total submission to the will of God, I received the news of Baba’s transition”.
“It is a known fact that death is inevitable in man’s life but I take solace in the fact that Baba lived an accomplished life”.
“I pray the Almighty repose his soul and grant him eternal rest. He will sorely be missed”.
