Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has proved for the third time maintaining been ranked as number one polytechnic in Nigeria as released by the Webometric rankings in January 2022.
The ranking is released every six months. Since January 2021, YABATECH has ranked first among polytechnics.
In a statement by its media relations officer, Felix Alade, YABATECH is the first institution in the polytechnic sector to achieve this feat.
“Webometrics ranking is based on web contents impact, top-cited researchers and papers published on research and publication platforms online, Felix Alade added.
He furthered to say that the school has been able to implement strategies to improve its ranking through increase in the quantity and quality of its web content.
