UNILORIN Students Union Bar Association Calls for Submission, Extends Deadline

The Students Union Bar Association at the University of Ilorin has announced an extension of the submission deadline for articles to be featured in their magazine. The new deadline is set for July 20, 2023.

In a statement signed by Abdulazeez Abdullah Abayomi, President of the Students’ Union Bar Association and made available to iDeemlawful through its director of information Adeleye Maryam Amoke

“The Bar Magazine is open to diverse contributions to all legal topics, however preference would be given to well-researched articles on emerging areas of law: Sports law. Petroleum law. Entertainment law, Artificial intelligence, Energy Law etc.

New Email address re submission of entries

The association, in addition to extension of deadline, has changed the email address for submissions.

“Authors are now requested to send their articles to the new email address: unilorinsubar@gmail.com or tap here .”

The association also requested that all previously submitted articles be resent to the new email.

“It is important to note that all previously submitted articles must be resent to this new email address.”

The association sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these changes.

Mode of submission

  • The Bar Magazine is open to diverse contributions to all legal topics, however preference would be given to well-researched articles on emerging areas of law: Sports law. Petroleum law. Entertainment law, Artificial intelligence, Energy Law etc.
  • All papers must be original work of the author and must not have beenpublished elsewhere.
  • Citations and refrencing must be in accordance with the National Association of Law Teachers Citation. Guide Referencing style, available at www.nalt.ng.org.
  • All papers must be typed on A4 standard paper with the body of the text complying with Times New Roman, size 12 and the footnotes complying with Calbri, size 10.5.
  • All papers shall be a maximum of 3000 words and a minimum of 1500, shorter papers would not be accepted.
  • All papers must state the title of the paper and name of the author on the first page.
  • All submissions must be made in doc format to unilorinsubar@gmail.com
