The South-West Zone of the Law Students Association of Nigeria under the leadership of Sen. Richard Abayomi Solomon, OOL, SRA on 14th of January, paid a condolence visit to the Palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan Land over the demise of Oba Saliu Adetunji.
The Association was duly represented by student leaders in the ibadan metroplis and were warmly received. The representatives presented a condolence letter on behalf of the Association and it reads;
“The South-West Law students Association of Nigeria is deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji. On this sad occasion, the association would like to express its deepest condolences to all members of the Family, the government and the people of ibadan land.

His Majesty was a remarkable King, leader per excellence who dedicated his entire life to the betterment of the country and the people of Ibadan and by extension oyo state at large, and the wellbeing of everybody without discrimination as to their status, ethnicity or religious persuasion.
To bring peace and prosperity to the people of Oyo state , His Majesty had devoted his life and worked tirelessly for improvement of life of the common people.
There is no doubt that his wisdom and devotion were an enduring source of strength and comfort for the people. His wise leadership and graciousness will be remembered by the citizens, our sincerest prayer is that His Soul rest in perfect peace as he joins his ancestors and may the land of Ibadan continue to prosper even than ever before. Accept our condolences”.
The Members of the Family and Palace thanked the Association for their visit and prayed that the land of Ibadan, Oyo state, will continue to progress and thrive.
