The Court of the National Association of Kwara State Students, in a suit instituted by Ismail Khadijah, orders the financial secretary of the Association, Abubakar Jibril, to present the Association’s account records to the Senate Council
As gathered by iDeemlawful, the court order stipulated the account records be made available on or before the 4th of October, 2021.
The court in a judgement delivered by Justice Abdullahi Soliu Dagbo, held that the provision of Article 9 section 3 (6) (iii) imposed a mandatory duty on the defendant to present the account on quarterly basis.
and, that his failure to do same amounts to violation of the said constitutional provision.
Accordingly, the court gave an order compelling the defendant to pay a sum of #2000 to the Claimant as cost of litigation.
