The Intellectual Property Club of the University of Ilorin (IPC UNILORIN) has achieved a resounding victory as the overall winners of the maiden edition of the IP Arbitration Moot.
The club triumphed over numerous IP clubs from various universities during the qualifying and semi-finals stages.
Hameedah Fajimite, who is the president of the Intellectual property club at the University of Ilorin had expressed fulfillment of desire in her remarks.
In the highly contested finals, IPC UNILORIN emerged victorious against the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Club of the University of Ibadan (IPTLC, UI).
The finals took place at the National Intellectual Property Convention, currently underway at the University of Lagos. The convention is organized by the National Intellectual Property Club (NIPC) and powered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Nigeria Office.
The IP Arbitration Moot is a prestigious competition that tests participants’ knowledge and skills in the field of intellectual property law.
The victory of IPC UNILORIN in this maiden edition is a testament to the dedication and efforts of their representatives.
Taofik Waliu Opeyemi from 500 level and Onuabuchi Precious Chiamaka from 300 level demonstrated exceptional expertise and talent throughout the competition.
