The leadership of Igbomina National Students’ Union (Headquarters) ably led by Bolaji Sodiq Akanbi felicitates with Engr. Sunday Babalola on the occasion of his birthday.
The National President of the apex sociocultural student body in Igbomina land described the celebration of Engr. Sunday Babalola’s birthday as a special opportunity to celebrate the special birth of a distinguished personality._
Bolaji said; “we are celebrating our pride”.

Bolaji made reference to numerous contributions of the iconic figure who has impacted into so many lives through his philanthropic acts which includes; scholarship and empowerment programs to promote education and eradicate poverty in our society, bursary award for indigent students (through Bayo & Bunmi Babalola Foundation) and many other charitable programs.
The Igbomina National Students’ Union is not left out of the beneficiaries of his philanthropic acts as he has contributed and sponsored many developmental projects and programs of the Union. 
Among which is; the well appreciated empowerment program “Raising INSU Potentials Through Empowerment” (First Edition)
 that had all First Class Obas of Igbomina and many other dignitaries in attendance. 
Indigent students who have acquired some specific skills were empowered with _ICT Gadgets, Sewing Machines, Make-Up Kits, Hair-Dryers, Welding Machines and many other tools.

History will forever be kind with you as the empowerment program was unprecedented in the history of our sociocultural student body.

Bolaji described Engr. Babalola as a man whose excellent attributes and rare qualities are second to none!
A man who sees contributing his own quota to human upliftment and communal development as a necessity!
An accomplished individual who sees service to humanity as service to God!
An integrity personified, selfless and principled minded retired career officer, whose thirty (30) years of service in the nation’s oil sector was remarkable as he retired as the Deputy Director, Department of Petroleum Resources with outstanding achievements and great records.
Engr. Babalola can best be described as a _True Son of the soil_ who have sincere love for his people and can go to any practicable extent to ensure his people are doing fine and good. 
  In his word; “It is clear that the Almighty has blessed you and your work.”
Today we get to remember you and your achievements. We pray that you will enjoy many more years of service and continue to be a blessing to others. 
We wish you a happy birthday and thank you for your service to our land. We hope you have many more years to keep up the good work.
