As gathered, the procurement, has contained in the Internal Memo released by the Security committee of the Varsity.
The University Community in recent times is worried over the rampant theft cases of property belonging to the University and individuals.
The matter remains a source of concern to all.
The Vice Chancellor procured hereby trained German police dogs (K9) which are already been deployed for night patrol within the campus.
In view of that, the University Security Committee wants the general public and the University Community in particular to take note of this development.
Moreover, staff and students are hereby advised to avoid suspicious nooks and crannies of the University at night hours.
