A 25-year-old seminarian, Suel Ambrose, reportedly slumped and died while acting in a drama on campus at Claretian University of Nigeria, Nekede, in Owerri, Imo State.
The deceased who was a fresher of the faith-based institution hailed from Benue State.
According to report, the late Ambrose was dramatising the role of the biblical Peter in the Passion of Christ when the incident befell on Friday.
A source explained to newsmen saying, “he was acting the position of the biblical Peter in the dream and that scene when Peter had cutoff the ear of one of the disciples and Jesus fixed the ear and ask Peter to let them do their wish. You understand how passionate the play is.
“So when the soldiers chase the disciples to drive them away from Jesus, the younger man fell on the floor and started out bleeding. We took him to the faculty clinic and the docs did their pleasant however he was not responding to treatment. We took him to the Federal Medical Center in Owerri the place he was later mentioned dead.
