‘Call for Paper’ by the Law student society, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University

Maiden Edition of the Law Students’ Society, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University Law Journal in honour of Late Hon. Justice Mustapha Akanbi, JCA. (Rtd).

The Law Students’ Society, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University, Malete hereby invites the academics, research scholars, lawyers, law students and anyone with keen interest in the field of law to submit original papers for publication in the Maiden Edition of her Law Journal.

The journal accepts papers relating to any areas of law and contemporary legal issues and debates.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS:
• Papers must be well researched and original (as all plagiarized works will be disqualified) and relate to any areas of law and contemporary legal issues.

• All papers must bear the name(s), e-mail, and institutional affiliation(s) (if any) of the author(s).

• The words’ count for an Abstract should not be more than 250 words. The words’ count for the main body of a paper should not be more than 5000 words (maximum of 15 pages of A4 size paper) excluding the footnotes and references. The journal shall give credence to quality papers that exceed the limit.

• The title of every paper should be brief, attractive/magnetic and accurate in conveying what the paper is about.

• Headings and sub-headings within the text of every paper should be concise and clear.

• Reference style should be in the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT).

• Title of statutes in the text of every paper should be in full (after which subsequent references may be abbreviated) and in italics.

• OTHER FORMAT: Papers should be typed on A4 paper size; processed in MS Word: 1.5 line spacing; Font: Times New Roman: Size: body text 12, footnotes 10.

• All Latin and other foreign language words should be italicized.

• All received submissions will be peer reviewed for accuracy and relevancy. Contributors are implored to do thorough proofreading of their works before submission.

Articles received will be acknowledged.

The deadline for submission is the 30th day of June, 2022.

N:B: The editorial board reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted paper, depending on its suitability for publication in the journal.

The Law Students Society, Kwara State University, Malete shall have the copyright on all published papers.
