CAC sets Deadline to delist 100,000 Dormant Companies

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a further postponement of the implementation of its revised registration fees, shifting the effective date to October 1, 2025.

In a statement issued by the commission, it said:

“The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) wishes to notify its esteemed stakeholders and customers that, in demonstration of our unwavering commitment to service excellence, the Commission has resolved to prioritize the full stabilization of the new Company Registration Portal before the second week of September 2025.”

Explaining the rationale behind the delay, the CAC added:

“Consequently, and in order to deliver optimum value to our customers, the Commission has approved the further deferment of the implementation of the revised fees.

“The new fees will now come into effect on 1st October 2025.”

The commission noted that this decision marks the second adjustment and reflects its determination to ensure a seamless transition into the updated service regime.
