An Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court has pointed out faults in the content of a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) recording on popular actor James Olarewaju aka Baba Ijesha stating that, the content may have been tampered with.
An expert in CCTV installation and maintenance, who is also a defence witness, Engr. Adeleke Lawrence made an allusion to this while being led in evidence by Babatunde Ogala (SAN) in the ongoing trial of Ijesha Baba.

Baba Ijesha has been accused on a six-count charge of child defilement bordering on allegations of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration before honorable Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo.
Two different video recordings of Baba Ijesha were played during resumption of the proceedings on Thursday following the request of counsel for the defence, Ogala.
The first video showed the defendant sitting on a sofa with the teenage survivor.
Two men and a woman walked out in the recording, which had no audio.
When asked of his opinion on the videos played, the witness said: “The gentleman and the lady appeared to be acting the way they were asked to do.”
