UNIOSUN Set To Hold 1st Registry Annual Lecture

In line with the training and retraining policy of UNIOSUN geared towards updating knowledge to keep up with the changing realities of contemporary times, the Registry Department of Osun State University, under the leadership of the Registrar, Mr Gafar Adebayo Shittu is set to hold its first Registry Annual Lecture with the theme “Building a Sustainable University Registry in a Changing World: Challenges and Prospects” on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10am.
The programme which is scheduled to hold physically and virtually at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium of the University’s Main Campus in Osogbo will have the erstwhile Registrar of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Dr Omojola Awosusi as the guest lecturer, and he will be speaking on the topic “The Place of the Registry in the effective administration of the Nigeri5an University System”.
The host, Mr Gafar Adebayo Shittu while speaking on the upcoming event stated that the first of its kind Registry annual lecture of the University will be educative and informative as the guest speaker will be enlightening the participants on the importance of the Registry in ensuring effective administration in the Nigerian University system.
The Lecture which will have the University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola as the Chief Host and the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council of the University, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu-Ali, SAN as the Chairman, will have in attendance Academic and Administrative Heads of Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and similar Institutions, Professional University Administrators, leaders of academic communities, media specialists and other key stakeholders in the education sector.
