The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has given reasons behind non-participation of some state universities in the ongoing strike and also why some of them are still going on with their academic activities despite the ongoing industrial action.
The union through its President, Professor Victor Osodeke made the disclosure while speaking on Arise TV show on Thursday.
He noted that, some state universities like Lagos State university, LASU, Kwara State University, KWASU, Ekiti State university, among others have unresolved issues with the National headquarters of the union .
Osodeke while fielding questions from the anchor of the program described some of the state-owned citadels of learning as irrelevant, quacks
