MTN has changed recharge activation code from *555 to *311.
This coming days after NCC directives to all major network providers issuing a uniform code for subscribers across services.
Ideemlawful gathered that the Mobile Telecommunication Network provider, MTN Nigeria Plc has however made a move to implement the earlier directives
Changing recharge activation code from *555 to *311*.
This is contained in a sml sent by MTN to their respective customers urging subscribers to start using the new code.
According to the statement, “Dear customer, this is to inform you of a change in our recharge activation code. You can now recharge your lines using 311recharge pin# instead of 555recharge pin#. We encourage you to start using the code for your convenience. Thank you for choosing MTN.”
