LSS Unilorin Visits Alumni, Seeks internship Opportunities, Others

Law Students Society, University of Ilorin visited its alumni in Lagos state, says, for the benefit of the members of the society.

The visitation which came up between 28th of February and 3rd of March, 2022, which was set to to facilitate internship opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students and seek for partnership in her subsequent projects.

The visitation was ably represented by the President and President-elect of the society, Ibrahim Ismail Mojishola and Abdulyekeen Muhammad Bashir

The Law Students’ Society, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin is established to ensure its members become good, brilliant and productive members of the legal profession in academic and practice within Nigeria and beyond.

The society in a bid to foster good relationship with lawyers and individuals in the larger society visited some of her alumni, junior and senior members of the largest bar in Africa in between 28th of February and 3rd of March, 2022 in Lagos.

The society also with her aged long tradition of launching her annual publication, “The Jurist” in honor of a legal luminary who has contributed immensely to the development of legal practice and education which was launched in honor of Mr. Y C Maikyau, SAN presented a copy each to the alumni and lawyers visited.

Below are the firms and lawyers visited;
Mr. Nasir Salau(Nasir Salau & Co), Mr. Abdulmajeed Abolaji(Alumnus and An associate at Aelex Lagal Practitioners & Arbitrators), Mr. Charles Adeogun-Phillips(Former international genocide prosecutor and founding partner of Charles Anthony LLP), Mr. Shuaib Alaran(Shuaib Alaran & Associates), Mr. Charles Adekunle, Mr. Muhammed Yasin Abdulmumin and Mr. Yunus Daibu(Alumni and Associates at Wale Babalakin & Co), Mr. Moshood Sheu(Moshood Sheu & Associates Legal Practitioner), Mr. Ishaq Olatunji Abdulhameed(I O Abdulhameed Chambers), Mr. Idris Abdulhakeem(Alumnus of the faculty), Mr. Saliu Jimoh(Alumnus and Founding partner of Gravis Lex Practice), and Mr. Ishaq Apalando(Alumnus and Associate at Charles Anthony LLP).

At the end of the meetings, it was reported to be productive and also the partnership with the firms met will be of great benefit to the student populace of the society.
