Terrorists have reportedly attacked operatives of the Nigerian Army on their way to rescue students of Maga Comprehensive Girls’ Secondary School, who were kidnapped a few hours ago in Kebbi State, leaving several injured.
According to a video shared by Sahara Reporters, some of the wounded soldiers were seen seated in a temporary shelter while medical personnel attended to them.
One of the soldiers was also heard lamenting the severity of the assault. He noted that a bullet had pierced the leg of one of the personnel.

Recall that over 25 students were abducted by the terrorists during the attack on the school, while report has it that two of them have already escaped.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Nafi’u Abubakar Kotarkoshi, the attack was carried out by heavily armed bandits, leaving one staff member dead and another injured.
However, despite the officers efforts, the attackers scaled the school’s perimeter fence and forcibly removed the students from their hostel.
Kotarkoshi confirmed that one Hassan Makuku lost his life during the attack, while Ali Shehu sustained gunshot injuries to his right hand.
Many Nigerians are expressing their frustration at the increasing insecurity in the country, calling on President Tinubu to address the nation and take urgent steps to checkmate the killings.
President Tinubu, reacting to the growing insecurity, stated that the situation is already making him depressed.
Tinubu called on residents in local communities to support security operatives by providing intelligence that will aid them in performing their duties of securing the nation.
