The Federal Government has announced the shortlist of applicants who participated in its recent recruitment exercise for paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.
The affected agencies include the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to the statement, candidates who applied for recruitment into any of the four paramilitary agencies are to visit the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Thursday to confirm if they have been shortlisted.
“From Thursday, October 30, 2025, candidates are to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise, as well as centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
“Shortlisted candidates are further requested to take note of the venue, date, as well as time scheduled for the CBT,” Jubril stated.
The board also cautioned applicants to ensure they use only the verified recruitment portal to avoid falling victim to fraudsters.
The ongoing recruitment is designed to fill various positions across the four paramilitary agencies under the CDCFIB as part of the Federal Government’s drive to strengthen national security and enhance public safety.
According to the board, a total of 1,911,141 Nigerians applied for the recruitment before the portal officially closed on Monday, August 11.
