NPF Removes Muyiwa Adejobi as PRO, Redeploys Him to Delta Command

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has removed DSP Muyiwa Adejobi from his role as the Public Relations Officer of the force and redeployed him to the Delta State Command as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations.

According to NTANetwork, Adejobi confirmed on Wednesday that he had been posted to the Delta State Command as DCP Operations.

In August, Adejobi earned a promotion from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).

The promotion, approved by the Police Service Commission, highlights DCP Adejobi’s outstanding service, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to upholding policing ideals in Nigeria.

Adejobi was first appointed in an acting capacity on 16th February 2022 as a CSP, taking over from then CP Frank Mba. He was later confirmed by the former Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali (Rtd).

During his tenure as the image maker of the NPF, DCP Adejobi distinguished himself by spearheading several strategic initiatives aimed at rebuilding public trust, enhancing accountability, and modernizing the force’s communication systems.

Adejobi studied Archaeology and Geography (Combined Honours) at the University of Ibadan and holds a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same institution.

He also served as the Police Public Relations Officer for the Ogun State Command from 2008 to 2016, amassing decades of experience in police operations, public relations, and law enforcement advocacy.
