It feels more like a dream than reality,

Looking here and there for your resurgence,

I was awaiting you to shower me with love as usual, But in actuality you’re gone forever.

I keep searching and mining for you all over, Yet our worlds stood apart,

Loneliness has become part of my DNA, These predicaments are highly isolating.

Attributed to us are names we wish not to bear,

The world dictates to us,

Society stigmatise and victimize, They admitted that it was our fault that life happened.

Only few get to understand our pains, Victim of circumstances might be an understatement, We suddenly take up both fatherly and motherly role, Our lives basically pause for a moment.

They weep for the memories of the past and the agony of the present, With watery eyes and broken mind, Let’s offer helping hands to these shattered pieces, How they fare to an extent determines who we are.
