The Southwest Directorate of Policies, Project and Programmes of Law Students Association of Nigeria under the leadership of Senator Richard Solomon paid a courtesy visit to Commissioner of police of osun state on the 1st of December, 2021.
The courtesy visit was mainly on the need to strengthen the security of students in osun state and across the southwestern states, In his words ” _Our administration is greatly concerned about the security and welfarism of every Lawsanite and by extension every student_.
As an administration with focus and determination we have come to seek the need for Nigeria police force to strengthen the security in other to protect our students and to plead with the state security not to engage in any illegal arrest or Brutality of any student.
We, on behalf of every students promise to be of good character in our conduct and always be an advocate of peace anywhere and anytime” In the recent interview, the southwest Leaders used the medium to call on other commissioners of police in the remaining 5 states which includes oyo, ogun, ekiti, ondo and lagos state to also keep up the good works and do everything in their capacity to ensure maximum security of students at all levels.
Furthermore, he pledged his commitment towards serving and giving the best to Lawsanites in the zone to support the administration in other to carry out it’s duties and obligations effectively in RAISING THE BAR and SETTING QUALITY STANDARD for every Lawsanite in the zone.
We appreciate the LAWSAN National President Sen. Michael Arinze in his bid to restore dignity and honour back to our beloved association gave us the maximum support we needed, we also appreciate the Commissioner of police for his effort in making sure lives and properties in the state is secured and has promised to more of this.
