Emir of Kano attends Morocco’s festival of horses

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has left Nigeria for Morocco to attend the 13th edition of the International Festival of Horses in the coastal city of El-Jadida holding between October 18 and October 22, 2022.

The monarch was invited by the organisers of the festival as a Special Guest of Honour during the occasion.

This is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Emirate Council, Abubakar Kofar-Naisa, on Saturday.

The Horse festival harnesses the numerous multi-dimensional benefits of the horse in Agriculture, promotion and the preservation of cultural heritage, environment, and sports and as a source of entertainment which creates powerful social links.
