Man Arrested For Stealing Cables At Deeper Life Bible Church

A man identified as Omotayo Oni have been arrested by Operatives of the Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe), in Ogun State for allegedly stealing cables belonging to Deeper Life Bible Church.

The suspect was arrested on June 22, 2022, at Owode Egba area of the state.

The Public Relations Officer of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, disclosed this to newsmen in a statement in Abeokuta, the state capital

Yusuf said the suspect was caught during a routine patrol by the SO-SAFE officials headed by SC Adeyeri, shortly after committing the crime.

He added that immediately he sighted the officials, he attempted to escape, but was given a hot chase by men of the corps and was promptly arrested.

The PRO said that the suspect on interrogation confessed to have stolen the cable wires from Deeper Life Bible Church State Headquarters, after taken the officials to many wrong locations

He said that the Chief Security Officer and others, were surprised and asked him how he managed to escape without being caught, with the formidable security network of the Church.

Meanwhile, the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, has ordered the suspect and the exhibit to be transferred to the Nigeria Police, Redeem Police Divisional Headquarters, for further investigation and prosecution
