iDeemlawfulA raging husband, Taofeek Gbolagade, on Tuesday morning, beat his pregnant wife, name withheld, to stupor over her failure to put together pre-dawn meal, Sahur, for him.
According to Vanguard, the traumatic incident took place around 4a.m at their dwelling in Ogbere housing property in Ibadan, Oyo State.
An eyewitness said: “This man continually beats his spouse over any little misunderstanding they have. I was in a position to file today’s event. He is a Muslim so I think they had an argument over Sahur.
“This man do not even care that she was pregnant with his 2nd baby and started pouncing on her. She wailed for hours before she was capable to flee to her parents’ house. Gbolagade has flown his residence after being declared wanted through the security personnel.”
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Adewale Osifeso stated investigation had commenced on the counts and updates would be supplied in due course.
