The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Osun has told the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to shut up, if it has nothing meaningful and sensible to contribute to the political development of the state other than dishing out malicious statements capable of destabilizing the state.

The Party also condemned in totality the petty and empty statement credited to one Ayodeji Areola of the PDP that “the Police should close down the APC state Secretariat to avoid further loss of lives” as not only frivolous and malicious but a product of a very sick mind, noting that this can only come from agents of darkness who do not want progress for the state.
This reaction is contained in statement issued from the Party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy and signed by its Director, Barr Kunle Oyatomi and made available to newsmen on Monday in Osogbo, the state Capital.
The party also described Areola as an ignorant figure who knows next to nothing about the political development of Osun except white lies he is being fed by their expired leaders of the dying party.
Security agents are urged to invite PDP leaders especially Ayodeji Areola to name the person that lost his or her live at the APC state secretariat but if he cannot prove it beyond reasonable doubt, then the law should have its cause on him for misleading the public.
The Party Chief Publicist drew the attention of Osun citizenry to the fact that the PDP in the state had a terrible antecedent and record of violence, killings and maiming to the extent that Osun people could not sleep with their two eyes closed.
Oyatomi therefore advised the opposition PDP in the state to face its business and put its scattered house in order rather than poke-nosing in an issue that has nothing to do with their party, adding that PDP, from National to the State level, is an assembly of confused and disorganized set of politicians and can never be compared with the APC when it comes to crisis management.
“What we are experiencing in the ruling APC in Osun is just an intra party/family issue and will be amicably settled by elders and leaders of the party in no distant time” Oyatomi assured
